Reverend Christine Veillon is “Priest in Charge” at St. John’s Church in Pleasantville, NY. St. John’s is a Community Partner of The Nicholas Center and home of many volunteer opportunities for our participants including the Pleasantville Community Garden, another local non-profit organization dedicated to battling hunger in Westchester. Fred Ellman runs “OnGrowing Mindfulness," an organization which provides therapeutic horticulture for seniors living with dementia and their care
partners. Recently, OnGrowing Mindfulness has partnered with St. John’s and TNC Westchester to create the upcoming Blossom Respite Cafe & Garden.
